Terms & Conditions
Payment
• Acceptance of quote and payment of deposit is acceptance of terms and conditions
• There is no minimum order
• We require 50% pre-payment and the remaining 50% within seven days of installation
• The order will not be placed until we receive the 50% deposit
• Once deposit is paid and order is placed, deposit is non-refundable
• We aim to give you a realistic lead time, however occasionally our supplier can incur delays and we cannot be held liable or offer discounts for this
• If the customer is not available to have the shutters fitted within 3 weeks of the proposed fitting date, a holding fee of £50 will be added to the final payment invoice
• If the remaining 50% is not paid within seven days of the installation, we reserve the right to charge interest at 1% per day overdue
• Payment must be by debit card or credit card
South London Shutters
• Public liability insured
• All staff will be appropriately qualified and any apprentices will be supervised
• All equipment and tools used will be conform to current safety standards
• We are not responsible for removing existing window furnishings and these should be removed prior to installation
• All cardboard and rubbish from the shutters packaging will be removed from the property by us
• We will not share or sell any customer data
The Customer
• If the customer expects their windows to be replaced in the near future, they should notify SLS immediately as this could affect measurements and incur further costs
• Customer will ensure access to the property on agreed date for installation
• Customer will ensure the areas are clean and cleared of furniture so that we can access the relevant windows
• Building permits or parking fees will be the responsibility of the customer for permit holder only areas
• Following completion, the customer should report any faults/defects immediately
• If replacement of parts is required due to customer damage, the customer is liable to pay the order fee
The Shutters
• All materials supplied will match what has been specified in the quote
• Any manufactural issue/fault will be replaced for no charge to the customer and usual lead times will apply
• Shutters are not sold as having full blackout effect and therefore some light might come through
• We offer 5-year warranty for any manufactural faults, but this will not cover accidental damage
